Matthew has defended hist thesis "Experimental Design under Low Signal Conditions".
He will now leave us to work as a data scientist in the investment firm TrexQuant.
Farewell, Matthew!
Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Physics from Brown University in 2016. He joined the lab during his sophomore year summer, working on integrating MATLAB with Google Drive, and also spectroscopy of chiral molecules. During his senior year he designed and built a photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy setup. He is now pursuing a Ph.D in materials science and engineering at Stanford University.
